SPARKLE IN THE NIGHT
It is the reconstruction of the rest house „Nakcižibis“surrounded by the pine forests. The title itself, the nearby protected ethnographic villages, the arrays of the pine forests and the ultimate connection with water inspires this idea. It was intended to create the composition of compact volumes „scattered“among the pines.
So the „shining“ and „looking“ toward the water objects appeared – shining at night, environmentally friendly volumes. The impression of „scattering“and „dissolving“is created consciously. The „graphic“ of trees‘ trunks, the transparency of pine forests, lightness and grace are intended to reveal when creating the houses‘ volumes „hanging“ above the water. The natural and traditional materials are used – wood, wooden chips and plaster. Separating and distinguishing the volumes of the rest house, it is intended to create the immediate relationship with the natural environment and privacy that are necessary for rest. The pontoon bridge extending to the lake captures the dominant visual axis.
