The main concept was inspired by nature. Located in the area of tiny (6a) community gardens the plot is surrounded by chaotic, densely located, small scale housing. All along the north side the lot borders with woodlands and the main connection road in between.
The goal was to inhabit comfortable, compatible, rational and environmentally friendly solution, with maximally preserved privacy at the inner courtyard.
Proposed volume forms the border and by the time separates from the street. L shape first floor plan opens to the light inner courtyard. Comparably low garage volume still preserves connection from the inside garden to the horizons with pine trees all around. All together quite small site visually expands through the terrace at the top of the parking roof. Singular volume for miscanthus vegetation comes as a cozy, visual core element for the whole upper terrace. Clear volumetric shapes, contrast materials and finishes generate humane and small scale expression. Facades are covered with planed, white painted pine boards. Regular and irregular graphics corresponding to the regularity and irregularity of the surroundings gently enrich facade, interior and fence elements. Some old apple, birch trees are preserved and new vegetation integrated. It creates close relation to the existing nature, also frames inside privacy (lawns, hedges, hurdles, miscanthus).
