Architecture Award (АрхиП) is a prestigious international architecture contest. The founder of the prize is the Publishing House Salon Press, Moscow. This is an annual open contest. The tenth, jubilee event will take place this year.
Today, like ten years ago, the contest’s objectives remain the same − to raise and foster high architectural standards; heighten the significance of architecture as well as the prestige of the profession itself; spread new ideas and projects. This year, the contestants for the main awards − ArchiP statuettes – are architects from Russia, Denmark, Jordan, the USA, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Great Britain, Holland, Japan, Austria, New Zealand, China, Canada, Finland and France. Over 70 projects became nominees in seven categories.
– Multi-storey residential buildings;
– Private houses;
– Commercial buildings;
– Public buildings;
– Renovation / reconstruction;
– Small architecture objects
– Conceptual, unrealized large-scale territorial projects.
Pušies šakos (Pine Branches) − the project and realization by Arches became a nominee in the category of private houses. The best project will be singled out within each category by a Professional Jury comprised of the best Russian and foreign architects. Winners will be announced this year on April 4 at the awarding ceremony in downtown Moscow.
